Collecting antiques was Rober Cihler Gašparović's greatest passion. The construction of his home in Senjak was completed in the eve of World War II. The house was designed as a Gothic castle on a small scale. It was furnished with antique furniture and 18th and 19th century silverware, chinaware, glassware and ceramic objects. The collection of silverware also included this jewellery box in the form of a chest resting on stylized paw-shaped feet. Its inner surfaces are gilt.
