100-Dinar Note from 1963
- Место: Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia
- Dimensions: 12,7 x 6 cm
- Inventory number: LĐN 1029
In the mid-1950s, after a turn in the country’s foreign policy, new banknote designs were introduced. In this note, considered by many as the most beautiful ever issued by socialist, motifs of post-war reconstruction were replaced by softer scenes. The face bears an image of a smiling girl from Konavle dressed in the local costume, while the back, in full colour, shows a view of Dubrovnik. Since then, the red colour was characteristic of the notes of 10, 100, 1000, 10,000 and even one million dinars.
