  • Where is the Belgrade City Museum located?
  • The Belgrade City Museum does not have a permanent exhibition. Its management building, which also houses curators' offices and museum storerooms, is located at No. 1 Zmaj Jovina Street in Belgrade. The Belgrade City Museum holds several permanent exhibitions under its auspices; they are mostly memorial in character: Residence of Princess Ljubica, Museum of Ivo Andrić, Museum of Paja Jovanović, Museum of Jovan Cvijić and the Museum of the Banjica Concentration Camp. If announced in advance, visits to the Museums of Toma Rosandić and the Collection of Icons Sekulić are also available. The Archaeological Site Vinča and the Zemun Home Museum are currently not available to public.

  • How to purchase museum admission tickets for groups of 10 or more visitors?
  • Admission tickets for groups of 10 or more visitors can be purchased at each of the satellite museums or by invoice payment. The invoice may be ordered at the accountant's office of the Belgrade City Museum by phone: +381 11 26 38 744 or +381 11 26 30 825, ext. 207.
  • How can I announce a visit to a satellite museum of the Belgrade City Museum?
  • Visits for groups of 10 or more visitors can be announced by phone at each of the satellite museums. Phone numbers and other museum information can be found on the satellite museums' webpages, as well as on the "Info / How to find us" page of our website.
  • Are there any admission concessions for schoolchildren, students and pensioners?
  • Yes. A fifty-percent concession is available to students, schoolchildren, the unemployed and pensioners. The appropriate proof of status is required. Admission is free for children under seven years of age, disabled persons with escort, members of MDS and ICOM and certain professional groups.
  • Are there audio guides available at the museums under the auspices of the Belgrade City Museum?
  • Unfortunately, none of the satellite museums of the Belgrade City Museum offers audio guides.
  • Are there foreign-language tours available at the museums under the auspices of the Belgrade City Museum?
  • Guided tours in English are available at the Residence of Princess Ljubica, Museum of Ivo Andrić and Museum of Paja Jovanović, whereas the Collection of Icons Sekulić offers guided tours in German. Foreign-language guided tours are available by appointment and, just like group visits, should be announced a few days in advance.
  • Is there parking for visitors?
  • Unfortunately, none of the satellite museums of the Belgrade City Museum offers parking for visitors. However, public parking sites are available in the museums' vicinity.

  • Requests to use images of museum objects on a form provided by the Museum should be submitted to the Documentation Centre. The use of images is charged in accordance with the Museum's price list. We hope you understand that certain images are not available for use.
  • What is the policy concerning the use of materials presented on the website of the Belgrade City Museum?
  • Information presented on the website of the Belgrade City Museum may be used solely for personal education of website visitors. Commercial use, further distribution, publishing or other uses are not permitted without an explicit approval by the Museum.
