Scouting is an international movement and a youth organisation founded by the English General Sir Robert Baden-Powell. In this country it was founded by Dr Miloš Dj. Popović under the name of the Union of Boy Scouts and Girl Climbers. Its main aim was all-round development of youth, above all through life outdoors and by learning how to find one's way in the countryside. The flag has been preserved by the family of Dr Miloš Popović, dental surgeon, head of the Dental School Hospital of Belgrade University and founder of the Scouts' League in Yugoslavia.
