In the same year there were 16 regular professors, 18 irregular professors, and 778 students. Apart from seminars, labs and library, the National Library was also accommodated in the University building. Teaching stuff mostly consisted of professors who were greatly admired in the Europe's science community. In one of the earliest group photographs of the first professors of University of Belgrade some of them were captured standing: Dragan Pavlović, Milić Radovanović, and J. Jovanović, and some were sitting: J. Žujović, Simo Lozanić, Jovan Cvijić, and Mihajlo Petrović Alas.
